Well done to Go West’s mechanical team at the BHP depot in Newman which has risen to the challenge of tackling a number of jobs during a very busy time.
The crew has been put under the pump bringing shutdown buses up to minesite specifications and preparing the fleet to service BHP’s Area C, just out of Newman, in addition to the ongoing day to day mechanical works.
“The spirit within the team and their engagement with the rest of the BHP personnel has been exceptional,” said Go West Shutdown Mobilisation Manager Andrew Horan.
“They have contributed a great deal to the BHP depot being a very pleasant work environment.
“Well done also to the mechanical team at the Newman Laver Street depot who were instrumental in supporting the BHP team with assistance across the workload. Thanks to everyone for their combined efforts.”
